This fall the Community Foundation of Johnson County will award five $25,000 grants to local nonprofit organizations serving Johnson County. The total $125,000 in grant awards will support programs and projects of 501(C)3 nonprofit organizations across the county that enhance the quality of life of Johnson County residents. This grant cycle is funded by the County Endowment Fund Program Distribution, which awards dollars to be re-granted by qualified Community Foundations in counties without state gaming facilities. Annually, the Community Foundation awards more than $2.5million in grants to nonprofits.
