Lone Tree Community Endowment Fund

The Lone Tree Community Fund began in 2005 as the first Community Endowment Fund administered by the Community Foundation of Johnson County. In its work to promote the betterment of the Lone Tree community, the Community Fund has given many grants. The Community Fund works with the Lone Tree Community School to provide annual scholarships to graduates, as well as funding a number of school purchases, including software, books, ticket booth improvements, and wrestling mats. The Lone Tree Community Fund also partners with groups including the Lone Tree American Legion for items such as memorials, roofing, new flags for Memorial Day; Lone Tree Fire and Rescue for items such as memorials, safety gear, painting, and driveway improvements; as well as many other organizations.

The Lone Tree Community Fund is committed to the future of Lone Tree. The Senior Dining Project, Lions Club Eye-Test Cameras, Annual Easter Egg Hunt, and Christmas Tree Ceremony are just some of the ongoing projects funded in part by the Lone Tree Community Fund.
