Swisher Community Endowment Fund

Swisher Community Fund

Local Giving. Local Impact.

The Swisher Community Fund was established in 2005 to support charitable efforts that make Swisher stronger, more vibrant, and more connected. Through local generosity and community leadership, the fund provides grants to nonprofit organizations and projects that directly benefit Swisher and its residents.

After several years of dormancy, the fund was reactivated in 2025 with renewed local leadership and a commitment to growing philanthropy and grantmaking in the Swisher community.

Growing a Fund for Swisher’s Future

The Swisher Community Fund is built on a simple idea: local people investing in the community they call home.

Gifts to the fund help build a charitable resource dedicated to Swisher. Through grantmaking, those dollars are put to work supporting organizations, programs, and projects that respond to local needs and create opportunities for residents.

As the fund grows, so does its ability to invest in Swisher—creating a source of community support that can make an impact today and for years to come.

Our Impact

Since the fund was reactivated in 2025, the Swisher Community Fund has awarded $5,072 through five grants supporting organizations and projects serving the Swisher community.

Give to the Swisher Community Fund

You don’t have to start your own charitable fund to make a lasting difference in Swisher. A gift to the Swisher Community Fund joins with the generosity of others to support local needs, strengthen community resources, and invest in Swisher’s future.

Give today and help grow what’s possible for Swisher.

Community-Led Grantmaking

Local leadership is at the heart of the Swisher Community Fund. The fund’s advisory committee helps guide its work and grantmaking, ensuring community knowledge and Swisher’s priorities remain central to funding decisions.

By bringing together local voices, charitable resources, and organizations doing meaningful work, the fund helps turn generosity into impact for the Swisher community.
