The Community Foundation of Johnson County is pleased to announce the opening of two scholarship applications for Johnson County seniors who are pursuing post-secondary education in the fall of 2021. The CFJC hosts multiple scholarship funds which were opened by generous donors with the intent of assisting students achieve their post-secondary education.
Two scholarships are currently available for applications: the Ada Woo and William Ching Endowed Fund Scholarship, and the First Baptist Church Scholarship.
The Ada Woo and William Ching Endowed Fund Scholarship is a $500 one-time award, designed to assist first-generation college/university students who are pursuing a degree in a STEM field. The First Baptist Church Scholarship is a one-time $3,750 award, designed to assist senior high school students who are pursuing a degree in Education from a post-secondary institution in the state of Iowa.
The deadline for applications for both scholarships will be April 20th, 2021 by 5pm. Additional eligibility information, details on the awards, and application forms can be found at the link below.
