FREE Family Event at Colony Acres Corn Maze

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the Community Foundation of Johnson County (CFJC) has partnered with Colony Acres Family Farm in North Liberty to be the 2025 Corn Maze Sponsor. This year’s corn maze—designed and crafted by Precision Mazes—features the CFJC’s logo and commemorates its 25 years of local impact in Johnson County.

FREE Family Event at Colony Acres Corn Maze

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the Community Foundation of Johnson County (CFJC) has partnered with Colony Acres Family Farm in North Liberty to be the 2025 Corn Maze Sponsor. This year’s corn maze—designed and crafted by Precision Mazes—features the CFJC’s logo and commemorates its 25 years of local impact in Johnson County.

To mark the occasion, the CFJC and Colony Acres invite the community to a free family event on Sunday, September 14, from 2–5 p.m. at 1150 Front Street in North Liberty.

Up to 200 guests will receive free admission to the 10-acre CFJC-themed corn maze as well as a complimentary beverage and snack. Guest wristbands will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Throughout the afternoon, guests can enjoy interactive stations within the maze showcasing the foundation’s work, photo ops with a 25th anniversary display, and announcements and CFJC highlights over the farm radio.

Since its founding in 2000, the CFJC has awarded over $30 million in grants, established more than 250 charitable funds, and supported numerous donors, nonprofits, and local initiatives to strengthen Johnson County.

Colony Acres features corn mazes, pumpkin picking, giant slides, and more than 40 varieties of pumpkin, leading it to become a favorite fall destination since opening in 2005.
