The Community Foundation of Johnson County is proud to announce that more than $33,000 in scholarships was awarded this year through 15 scholarship awards, benefiting students from six area schools as they pursue college degrees, technical training, certification programs, and other post-secondary opportunities. These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of local donors who are passionate about investing in the future of our community and helping students achieve their educational goals.
This year’s scholarship awards were distributed through the following scholarship funds:

- Ada Woo and William Ching Endowed Scholarship
- First Baptist Church Scholarship
- Greater Iowa City Area Student Scholarship
- Niles Schreiber Endowed Scholarship
- Outstanding Youth in Agriculture Scholarship
- Svatos Engineering Endowed Scholarship
From first-generation college students and future engineers to aspiring educators, agricultural leaders, and skilled trades professionals, these scholarship recipients represent the talent, dedication, and promise found throughout our region.
