The Community Foundation of Johnson County, in collaboration with Think Iowa City, hosted a Legislative Preview Breakfast on Tuesday, January 7, at the new North Liberty City Hall. The event featured a presentation by David Adelman, who serves as Principal and Counsel at Cornerstone Government Affairs.

Since 2010, Adelman and his team at Cornerstone Government Affairs have advised Community Foundations and Convention & Visitors Bureaus across Iowa on tax policy and legislative matters. Adelman utilized his experience to provide attendees with a comprehensive look at what to expect in the upcoming Iowa legislative session.

In addition to Adelman’s presentation, the Community Foundation of Johnson County and Think Iowa City shared updates on their ongoing initiatives to improve the quality of life in Johnson County.
