As of August 17, 2023, the Endow Iowa Tax Credit for 2023 have been exhausted. With the updates made earlier this year to the Endow Iowa Tax Credit Program removing the waitlist, we enter a period of pause in the program as we await a new application form and process for 2024. The Community Foundation of Johnson County, and other Community Foundations across the state will be given access to the 2024 form for donors to complete for eligible gifts on January 2, 2024.
Donors who make gifts that may be eligible for Endow Iowa Tax Credits between August 14th, 2023 and January 2nd, 2024 will wait to complete their tax credit applications until January 2024 when the new system is up and running. The Community Foundation of Johnson County will work with our donors whose gifts may be eligible to complete those forms as quickly as possible beginning on January 2, 2024.
Gifts made prior to the August 14th cut-off date will receive their tax credit certificates beginning in September 2023 to utilize for their tax preparation.
