Riverside Theatre strengthens the cultural fabric of Iowa City through intimate, engaging productions from classics to new works, fostering a deeper appreciation for the dramatic arts.

Rotary – Kerber HeartSafe Campaign

The Rotary-Kerber HeartSafe Community Campaign’s Mission is to increase the survival rate of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) victims in Johnson County by motivating laypersons to intervene effectively using cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and an automated electronic defibrillator (AED).

Safety Village

Safety Village is a two-week summer safety camp where children learn about safety in a hands-on way. 

Scattergood Friends School

Scattergood Friends School challenges students with a college-preparatory curriculum, farm experience, a shared work program, and community living in the spirit of Quaker faith.

Shelter House

Through shelter and housing, advocacy and supportive services, our mission is to prevent and end homelessness in our community.

Solon Area Community Foundation

The Solon Area Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building Solon’s future. We are supported 100% by donations. We entertain requests for funding a variety of community projects, with an eye to having a broad impact in the Solon area.

Solon Public Library Foundation

The Solon Public Library provides a welcoming environment that facilitates the educational, cultural and informational needs for all members of the community.

State Historical Society Fund

The State Historical Society of Iowa has been a trustee of Iowa’s historical legacy since 1857. With a dual mission of preservation and education, the society maintains a museum, two research centers and seven historic sites. The society preserves and provides access to Iowa’s historical resources through a variety of statewide programs, exhibitions and projects while serving as an advocate for Iowa’s past and connector to the future.

Sutliff Bridge

Today the SBA continues multiple fundraising events and donates to the Community Foundation of Johnson County.​The Foundation currently has two funds established for the Sutliff Bridge – an Endowment Fund and a Charitable Giving Fund – with the purpose of setting aside funds for future bridge maintenance or to make improvements to the location as a public destination. The Endowment Fund utilizes the Endow Iowa tax credit adopted in 2003 by Iowa Legislature.
