Through a fund at the Community Foundation of Johnson County (CFJC), you can make unique and meaningful contributions in a variety of ways which allow you to have a permanent impact on a cause you care deeply about. From October 1 – December 31, 2024 (or until match funds are expended), your new fund can grow with a match gift from the CFJC! Gifts made to open any NEW fund will be eligible for a 10% match, up to $2,500 per household.
For example, starting a new family endowment fund, “The Smith Family Endowment Fund” with a $10,000 will receive $1,000 in match funds, making the total in the fund $11,000! If the Smith Family opened their new fund with a $25,000 gift, they would receive a $2,500 match, making their fund total $27,500. If the Smith Family opened their fund with a $50,000 gift, they would receive a $2,500 match, making their fund total $52,500.
NEW funds of any kind, endowed or non-endowed, are eligible for the match, as well as agency funds, field of interest funds, and designated funds.
