Johnson County “Food with Love” Food Drive

The cost of food is rising, food assistance benefits have been reduced for families, pantries are seeing an uptick in clients served by between 70-80% compared to previous years, and shelves are empty. We need our community’s help to re-stock the shelves.

Can you help us provide food with love? Together with the United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties, the Coralville Community Food Pantry, CommUnity Crisis Services and Food Bank, and the North Liberty Community Pantry, we are collectively raising funds to distribute to our food pantries whose shelves are empty!

How can you help?

  • Make a financial contribution to this fund!
    • Gifts made to the “Food with Love” fund will be distributed amongst the three community pantries.
  • Donate food items to your local pantry! (Bonus: Check out their wishlist pages on each pantry’s website to learn what they need!)
  • Volunteer your time at your local pantry! Visit their websites for ways you can be involved.

“We are serving more families than ever and donations are down during a time they are needed most. We are turning to our community of support to help fill this vital need during the summer months. Every dollar and item donated to any of your local food access agencies will impact neighbors in need.” – North Liberty Community Pantry Staff
